The Western Idaho Fair awards $1,000 scholarships to outstanding 4H & FFA members—bright students graduating high school and pursuing higher education and a career in the ag industry.
What defines a Fair scholar dollar winner? Career vision. Fair and community involvement. Plus high school GPA and SAT/ACT scores. Students selected to receive a scholarship can reapply for their 2nd, 3rd, and 4th year of college too. The sum total scholarship award could add up to $4,000!
To date, over $90,000 in scholarships have helped spur on the education of worthy students. Primary funding for the scholarship program comes from paid parking during the Fair, and from our generous sponsors. Check out our past scholarship winners »
Check back here early in the spring for the details and forms to apply for a Fair scholarship. Applications are due each year in April.
