2024 Western Idaho Fair Saw Over 260,000 In Attendance
Boise, Idaho — The 2024 Western Idaho Fair wrapped up another successful year, drawing over 260,000 visitors to Expo Idaho, making it one of the most well-attended events in the Fair’s history. The closing weekend saw nearly 100,000 people in attendance showcasing the community’s support for this beloved end of summer tradition.
Entertainment was a major draw, with approximately 50,000 people enjoying performances at the ICCU Grandstand. The Beach Boys and Josh Turner attracted the largest crowds. People also came to the fair to enjoy Butler Carnival and the iconic Fair food.
The Fair also celebrated the incredible talents of the community, featuring nearly 15,000 exhibits and over 2,500 exhibitors across a variety of categories. Competitive exhibitors were rewarded for their efforts with more than $165,000 in premium payouts, recognizing the dedication and skill of participants.
One of the standout achievements of the Fair was the Jr. Market Livestock Sale, which raised nearly $650,000 for 4-H and FFA youth. These funds will provide crucial support for the education and development of the next generation of agricultural leaders.
Behind the scenes, the success of the Fair is a testament to the dedication of hundreds of businesses, thousands of exhibitors, and many thousands of workers who come together to create this event.
As Expo Idaho prepares for its next phase of transformation with the development of The Park at Expo Idaho, the Western Idaho Fair continues to be a shining example of community spirit and celebration. We look forward to building on this year’s successes and creating even more memorable experiences for our visitors in the years to come.
