Come create an amazing FREE art project and take it home! We’ll have the following fun art stations available at random during the Make & Take Art Project events at the Fair:
Ice Cream Cone Tower
Use paper cones, round sponge cutouts, and colorful fun paint to build your fun flavorful painted ice cream cone! And don’t forget to add the sprinkles.
Beaded Butterfly
Select your colorful mixture of beads and pipe cleaners to build your butterfly and finish it with googly eyes. Then take it home and hang it from your backpack or key chain or give it to a friend!
Blow Ink Creation
Start with blank white paper and add colors using ink droppers. Then use a straw to blow your ink around and around the paper, and finish your design by using markers and googly eyes!
Rock Painting
Paint, decorate, and design rocks that capture the spirit of the Western Idaho Fair like rides, animals, food, etc. Add your finished rock to the Fair’s rock garden, or take it home.
Coffee Filter Art Butterflies
Use markers to color 2 coffee filters for the wings. Select your pipe cleaner color and twist it around to make the body and antennas. Spray with water and watch the marker colors spread like magic on your butterfly.
Symmetry Painting
Select your canvas and fold it in half. Then add blots of paint to one side of the canvas. Fold the canvas in half and gently squeeze both halves together. Carefully lift top half and open to view your creation!
