Outside Water Bottles and Drinks

You may bring in a SEALED bottle of water (1 per person).

If the seal is broken, the contents will be poured out. You may refill your empty bottle inside our Fair.

Designated Rideshare/Dropoff Area

Please turn off Chinden Ave. onto Kent Lane. Drive down to Paddock Drive. Look for ride share drop off signs at the loop in the road. Exit Kent Lane onto Chinden.

Drones

Ada County prohibits the use of drones on Expo Idaho/Western Idaho Fair property.

ATMs

For fast cash, multiple ATMs are located on the Fairgrounds.

Handwashing PSA

Important reminder! Please remember to wash hands with soap after visiting animal areas, and before eating (and most definitely if you do one after the other). You’ll find handwashing stations throughout the Fairgrounds.

Rentals

Western Idaho Fair does not provide rentals for strollers or wheelchairs.

Found Kids Booth

Get a wristband ID to track kids quickly, no matter where they roam. Register at Found Kids Booth near the Main Gate.

Babies Rest Stop

Air conditioned and open until 9 pm, stop in to change a diaper, rock a baby, breast feed, or just put your feet up. The Babies Rest Stop is located near Western Town (see map). Strollers are NOT available for rental, so please bring one with you.

Security Services

The Ada County Sheriff’s Department staffs an office in Guest Services near Main Gate B (see map), plus has deputies throughout the grounds.

Emergency Medical Services

For serious emergencies, dial 911. For minor medical issues, go the EMS station on the west end of the Small Animal Building (see map). Here, you can also boost your life-saving skills by taking our free sidewalk CPR training course.

Disability Assistance

The Fair maintains firm ADA policy for access to our attractions. All Expo building bathrooms are handicap accessible—but keep in mind that wheelchairs are not available for rental. A handicap ramp provides access to the Grandstand so you can catch our concerts. The north end of the Expo building is paved up to the door—and ramp access on the east side of the North Expo building is now available too.

Service Animals

Only animals in service for disability assistance are allowed on the grounds. No comfort dogs or pets – strictly enforced.

Code of Conduct

These things shall not be tolerated: Clothing or gestures deemed obscene or indecent. Foul or abusive language. Fighting, taunting or threatening. Intoxication or impairment due to illegal drug use/alcoholic consumption. Actions that cause public disruption.

Not Allowed

Pets of any kind—including pets in vehicles (disability assistance animals required by a physician are the only exception), bicycles, motorcycles, roller blades, roller skates, skateboards or scooters inside grounds, fires or flammable materials. A patron involved in any type of accident on grounds shall immediately contact the Fair Office or report to Fair personnel.
